Located on the north side of the Los Angeles River, the Zev Yaroslavsky L.A. River Greenway Trail is a half-mile walking path that brings back native habitat to the river’s edge and reincorporates the river into this urban San Fernando Valley neighborhood.
The trail is popular with walkers and joggers, and those needing natural respite. Beautifully designed artistic gates and interpretive panels tell the story of the the natural function of the river and the native people who once centered their lives around it.
