The Los Angeles River Center and Gardens in Los Angeles, Ed Davis Park at Towsley Canyon in Santa Clarita, and Temescal Gateway Park in Pacific Palisades offer charming and elegant facilities for weddings and parties for 50-500 people. San Vicente Mountain Park and Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park both offer sweeping vistas that make the perfect backdrop for a dramatic wedding ceremony. The newly acquired parkland Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve (formerly Ahmanson Ranch) can also be used for special events and retreats.
Historic Mentryville in Santa Clarita is one of many parks well suited for company picnics and other large-scale outdoor events. Franklin Canyon Park offers both indoor and outdoor venues for special events of all kinds. Overnight accommodation is available at Towsley Lodge and Temescal Conference and Retreat Center. A private group camp is available at Sage Ranch in the Simi Hills.
